people never know what is wrong with themselves and everyone else sees it right away.
For we have thought the larger thoughts
And gone the shorter way.
And we have danced to devil's tunes,
Shivering home to pray;
To serve one master in the night,
Another in the day.

we took the commuter rail to acton, rode our bikes to stowe, picked apples all day and made some delicious apple crisp.
chopped apples coated in cinnamon&sugar, a sprinkle of nutmeg & cloves,
and a small handful of golden raisens
over the apples is a
sprinkled a mixture of a tblsp of evaporated milk, 3 tblsp of rice milk, togo pack of butterscotch pudding
the crisp topping is
rice crispies, whole oats & steel cut oats, kashi crunch!, pinch of salt, a big handful of walnuts and 2 tblsp of butter
cooked for 20 min at 350.
cooked for 20 min at 350.
dont fear the cold.
jump right in
fight through
go somewhere.
fight through
go somewhere.
( let's do it on every continent. well. not every continent.
how many are there? 7?
yeah, but we couldn't on antarctica.
why? because it's cold?
because it's frozen.
oh, no - we're definitely going to do it on antarctica )

blue eyed boys are bad news.
i heard you crying, your heaving sobs
i think you wanted me to. wanted to share with the world your sadness
you're breaking hearts with your ocean eyes and crinkly wet nose
and they are breaking all the time.
i wonder if you gather where it's coming from, what started it
you used to be this strikingly beautiful thing
how we loved to ponder your strength and where it came from,
but it's getting colder and browner out there
and look how fragile you've become
weathered, trying to hold yourself together,
binding yourself with with the vapid shallowness of
cushiony words, whispers and gentle kisses
aware that your elation is fleeting,
and only peppered with truths.
you're either watered down in a beautiful sadness
or sparking til you blow a fuse.
