I was out to dinner recently and heard the next table over say this. The table was a group of old friends, academics and intellectuals. maybe pretentious? i couldn't tell. that might be the point, though.
It made me realize - or percieve - a bubble that i have been living inside. it reminds me that i am only perceiving a very small part of the world - and that is my capacity (whether i created those boundaries or not)
am i so limited? i don't feel that humble. does that make me look foolish? i'm not sure if i care - at this point, humilty would allow me to get nothing done.
